I got a new one today for work and am wanting to knowif I can download lots more barcode things to it. When I have scanned a few things, some of them weren't in the scanner already and i had to put it in myself but I would like to have all the detailed information like the preset information has...

Nicky, isn't it like the other versions-you need to register the purchase either online or with the registration card included. Once that is done, you are entitled to the first "upgrade" of updated bar code information. Each following upgrade (from the website) is $50.
I have the Summitt, so my info might not be up to date for the Omni.
Oh well i have some well, a lot of things on it, i just didn't know if there would be more. I am not sure what i am suppose to or not suppose to do. This is for work and well, they just kind of through it at me and said here you gooooooooooo have fun.... It was still in the box and everything when I got it.
try scanning the included paper work-there should bne a card included, and it has a bar code on it with the ID Mate info, like the website and info you need to register.
If that doesn't work, there's no harm in asking a coworker to assist, is there? The more info you have in the database, the better you can do your job right?
You could always call the company and see if they can assist you. For the price of those things, they sure ought to be willing.

I found the card that you were talking about last night. I will have to fill it all out myself unless i have my work do it but I can do it. I will have my work pick up the cost of my updates at least I will be putting in my Dsheet as an operators expense... I don't have any coworkers. I do have an employee that comes later in the week to do a bit of work for me...
